    This was very nice, in a more restrained style than many California Chardonnays can be. Pale yellow in the glass, served in a Burgundy stem this offers some nice floral notes, pineapple, lemon, and chalk. The palate leads with lemon, green apple, tart pineapple, and quince framed by brisk acidity and a medium-long finish. Excellent!!

A local wine shop had this for around $25 a bottle. Maybe should have jumped on a previous vintage.

If you like restrained Chardonnay then I think at $25 its worth a test-run…
