TN: 2017 Bedrock Coast to Foothills Syrah

Is this the best regular-priced $20 wine out there or just one of the best?

The former North Coast Syrah… just reliable and delicious every time, with plenty of staying power and what feels like the ability to evolve with age from here. Nose is full of dark fruits like blackberries and blueberries, some violet and a little bit of gamey meat. On the palate those dark fruit are still crisp and fresh, with some solid tannin to carry it through. its already got good harmony but feels like its got a nice life ahead. in my eyes, this is the definition of a cellar defender. Inexpensive, but delicious every time its opened. I wish I had a lot more of this than I do.
