1998 Weingut Knoll Grüner Veltliner Beerenauslese Loibner - Austria, Niederösterreich, Wachau (2/17/2019)
I bought this 500ml bottle back in 2004 for $20. 2nd time I have had this wine. Last was 15 years ago. Wow. This has really improved and developed. Paired with a homemade apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Rich, unctuous and deep. Notes of pear, apricot and tropical fruits. Really nice balance. This was still going strong at 21 years old. 94 points.
