How soon before drinking would you open it? Slow ox for an hour?
I’d decant for a couple of hours. Slow ox is for old, delicate wines, just a way to let off aromas blow off. It isn’t going to do anything for this wine.
I ended up slow-oxing for a bit and letting it develop in glass, it was a half bottle so didn’t want to decant. Notes soon.
Pop and pour would actually work as well. . . pour it into a decanter and then watch it develop over the course of the night.
Love the 2008 Lambrays, very floral and expressive. Great juice.
I double decanted about three hours before. Its a besutiful wine and entering a period of early enjoyability.
Please do post a TN! I’m sitting on a couple bottles and they’ve taunted me continually since purchase.
