What is a tun, pipe or butt, puncheon, hogshead, tierce, barrel or runlet of wine?

I heard the term pipe of Port used during a recent Taylor Fladgate retrospective from 1890-2016. New to me, I looked it up and there`s a lot more sizes new to me as well. Here’s a link for some info:

I thought it was the only form of chugging. If not…I’ve been doing it wrong for years.
