Just got the email about the allocation being open. I might do a 3 pack of the Altagracia and the olive oil. Debating the sauv blanc. Anyone else buying?
The 2018 Olive Oil is the fruit of the 468 olive trees on the Estate. Unusually, climatic conditions have yielded a tiny crop of olives, more than 80% down compared to prior years. As a result, availability will unfortunately be very limited this year.
Booo, guess I probably won’t be getting the olive oil this year.
Curious of what were the unusually climatic conditions.
Looks like bud break for olive trees was more affected than for grape vines considering the weird warm early Feb followed immediately by cold/frost conditions.
