Decided to feel out Rhys with only 4 bottles, first-time buyer this year. Couldn't decide between how many pinot vs. chard, but decided on 3 Alpine PN and 1 Horseshoe Chard.

Given that I have 3 Alpine PN, was thinking of popping one upon receipt to calibrate to the winery as suggested above.

Tonight’s 2013 Alpine Chardonnay was simply delicious. Reinforces my decision to stick with Alpine and Horseshoe.
Opened a bottle of the '13 Alpine Chardonnay last night - still young, but so delicious with an hour of air. Can't wait to see what the next couple of bottles are like in a few years. One of the most perfect expressions of CA Chardonnay I've ever experienced.
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

Just finished off my last 2013 Alpine Chardonnay - shared with family at my MIL's. This was a lot more subdued and lighter-bodied than I remember. A beautiful shining gold color in the glass. Very pure and precise flavors of muted lemon and touches of tropical fruit with a saline/mineral finish. Very nice, but I'm not sad I quit purchasing - just not in our wheelhouse considering the price. Cheers!

Just had a 2015 Alpine Chard while on vacation in Aruba. Another stunning Alpine Chard.
