Fun little affordable red wine that’s a step or two outside of the norm.
2015 Weingut Rosi Schuster St. Laurent - Austria, Burgenland (1/26/2019)
– popped and poured –
– tasted non-blind for approx. 1.5 hours –
NOSE: initially funky and smoky; {didn’t write any further impressions, but remember liking it}
BODY: violet-magenta color of medium-light depth; medium-light bodied.
TASTE: leathery/funky; touch of brett; some red berries push forward through the leather. Quite nice for the price ($20); solid re-buy candidate.
