These were my gateway Viogniers a few years ago. I was just helping a friend pick out wineries to visit in Santa Barbara when I saw that their website is down and yelp reported that the location was closed. I tried to pop in twice in 2017 and 2018 and both times was told that they weren’t pouring.
Any idea what happened to them? It’s a shame that they’re gone.
I bought some of their 2011 Pinot Noir “Mutchmore” on BD5, and very much enjoyed it.
I just ran into Morgan on Tuesday. She is working on developing a brokerage business in North Carolina for central coast wineries. I don’t think she could sell the Viognier at a truly profitable price.
Ah, that’s too bad. They were always very reasonably priced.
