First-time poster. Any advice on professional wine storage near Berkeley? Seen good things on here about Subterraneum. There’s a new place in Berkeley called Caves du Vin but can’t find much online about them.
Subterraneum has been around longer than my facility, well over 25 years. No problems I’m aware of and I have several friends that have large amounts of wine there, one for several decades. I don’t know anything about Caves du Vin, but you can store with Subterraneum with confidence.
I stored my wine at Subterraneum for 20+ years and was very happy. Joe is great and it’s an excellent facility.
There’s The Wine Chest in Pleasant Hill as well, which is very good. But it’s much further. And Subterraneum is excellent and closer (disclosure: I store my personal wine there). Don’t know of any others that are close-ish by.
Called Subterraneum, but they seem to be full! Ideas?
