TN: 1971 Charles Noellat Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts

  • 1971 Charles Noellat Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru (1/28/2019)
Fabulous nose of rose petals, black earth, root vegetables, Hoisin and beef stock. It is elegant in the mouth, with vinous sweetness and all sorts of floral spice. There’s a touch of leather and some truffle too. It finishes sweet and light on its feet. A true pleasure to drink.

Nice note Jeremy! I dont have/drink a ton of burgundy but I randomly came across a few bottles 79 Charles Noellat Romanee St. Vivant for cheap a handful of years ago. 2 I’ve opened were really good and I still have 1 left. Hoping it shows as well as your 71.

mouthwatering note and wine.

What Alan said. I have zero experience with Charles Noellat but I took a flyer on some Vougeot from Envoyer a while back. Think those are coming in soon. Look forward to trying.
This sounds great, Jeremy. Thanks.

Thanks Guys.

Rich, hope that last '79 RSV shows well for you.
