P&P though this really developed nicely over the 2 hrs. or so it was open, I'd have given it an hour of air if I could do a do over. At first this came across a tad non discreet, but quickly blossomed into a fine, almost 20 year old Left Bank specimen. Fragrant black currant is nicely off set by subtle earth tones, medium bodied, a bit of tobacco here and there, and all in all a very fine claret. If this bottle is representative, certainly in its prim drinking window and should hold for a good while, probably a matter of personal preference at this point. (91 pts.)
