This is Tony Biagi’s label, and the web site is brand new. I believe the 16’s reds will be a February release, with 3 wines: Avoyelles, A. Price cabernet and Oakville Ranch. While the reviews, e.g., Vinous, are really good, these wines are a must taste IMO. I was wowed by the 15’s and tasted the 16’s from barrel- very impressive. Definitely my find of the year in 2018. Oh, Roy Piper sent me over there in the first place, fwiw.
Thanks for the heads up. Will give it a shot upon release.
Thanks Jim. How do these compare to his Hourglass bottlings? Love those.
Brian, Every bit as good as Hourglass, some better and a bit less expensive. I think personal preference will drive which you would like best.
I see 16s already at retail, might it be the 17s being released?
just checked the website, is the 16s being released.
I had a 2016 Oakville Ranch last week. I put a TN on CT, but this is a very tasty wine with a solid QPR to match.
Impressive purity and intensity of fruit that reminded me less of the 16’s that I have tasted, and much more to the 15’s.
