    Delivered to me at 2:00pm. Cork popped at 4:45pm. This pours a lovely transparent ruby with flecks of orange and rose at the rim. Lovely and classic Nebbiolo nose on first sniff. It evolves as the night goes on. rose petal, orange peel, a coarse tar note, forest undergrowth, wet tilled soil, fresh red cherry, mulberry, and nutmeg. The palate is just a touch ligher in tannin than I’d expect from a young nebbiolo (that’s to say still elevated), with high refreshing acid. I could see this being confused with a tannic pinot noir blind. Quite a good wine and sharp value. (90 pts.)
