2007 Mailly Champagne Grand Cru L'Intemporelle - France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru (1/5/2019)

Purchased for $48 (about half the normal price). 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay from vineyards around the town of Mailly in the Montagne de Riems. 8g/ltr dosage. Solid bead at first but it fades quickly. Medium straw color. Richer texture and fuller body. Slightly sweeter than what you would expect from a brut. Notes of apples and citrus. I liked this better than the others trying it but still thought the other Champagnes we opened were better (06 Launois SC, Bonville BdB). 89 points>
