- 2015 Benjamin Leroux Corton - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton Grand Cru (12/30/2018)
There's a touch of reduction and a whiff of oak showing, but this is essentially a cool, well-balanced '15 of good character and potential. There's enough flesh to buffer the gums against the wine's structural elements. It has some pretty florals and perfectly ripe cherry fruit. It tightens considerably on the back-end and really needs another decade or two to unfurl.
