I recently sold wine at auction for the first time in several years. Was quite surprised by the prices.
Unlike 2008, wine may not take a big hit due to the stock market as there does not appear to be the same underlying issues with the economy. Still, might be time to unload some cellar holdings that I have thought about to free up cellar space.
it will be interesting to see. I think wine will soften. High market prices make people feel flush and when it tanks, they batten down the financial hatches re spending disposable income.
