2016 von Winning Sauvignon Blanc Trocken II

This is a beast of a wine.

Bordering on brutal.

It's the cleanest, clearest, most acidic, most minerally Sauvignon Blanc I've ever tasted.

Not for the faint of heart.

It's a monster - 2200 volts worth.

Tasted over the course of nine days.

In screwcap.

Yes! the SB 500 is even more electrifying. The SB I is all stainless and more crisp and fruity, but still great. I really like their entire line-up. The GG rieslings are singular and fascinating. I buy their wines every year.

I visited them in Deidesheim when we were there last summer. Cool tasting room and people, and, yes, also very interesting and fun wines! (I didn't realize they were being imported to the states.)

Love their Riesling. Very pure and focused.
I want to be known by my indulgences.

This one just went on Clearance Sale locally for $13.50.

That's a "Back Up the Truck" and "QPR of the Year" price right there.
