One hour decant. Dark and impenetrable color. NO signs of age. Smoky and roasted flavors. Smooth and no where near as rough and tannic as in its youth. Not a fruit driven flavor profile. I can see why someone (hint hint for the FKALBTG people) who hates ripe fruit would like this wine. Meat juices, earthy, herbal spices, long finish. I only had one bottle so I opened it when the whole family was here. I wish I had another one to see it after 5-10 more years. Not at its peak. (93 pts.)
