This was a great zin made in a very classic, 'old school' style. Took a bit to open up but by the second glass this was perfect. Medium bodied with plenty of acidity, and mostly red fruit and some slight baking spice. Well structured and clearly very well made. Love the Charter Oak wines when I'm in the mood for a more claret-style zin. Worth seeking out if you like the style (only 275 cases produced) Life is good!
