Ramonet reds, which one?

Which of these 3 do you all think is better for near term drinking?

2012 Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet Clos de La Boudriette
2013 Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet Clos St Jean
2015 Ramonet Chassagne Montrachet La Boudriette

The 2013. But the 2015 is quite dramatic, if you haven’t tried one in its youth it could be interesting.

2012 Clos de la Boudriotte (-otte !)

I managed to find a 6 pack of the 15s so I might try the one bottle I have now…

I say either vintage of Boudriottes, as I find it a prettier, more nuanced wine than the Clos St. Jean. That said, Ramonet’s 2013s are beautiful.

Does anyone know the difference between 1er La Boudriette Rouge and 1er Clos de la Boudriette Rouge?

I don’t know the answer, but I have a theory. La Boudriotte is somewhat of a catch-all climate. There are six climates that can use the name: La Boudriotte, Les Fairendes, Les Petite Fairendes, La Roquemaure, Champ Jendreau, and Les Chaumes. BTW, all these climates along with, by my count, 17(!) others can also use the climate of Morgeot. I suspect that the La Boudriotte comes from some mix of the six eligible climates while the Clos de la Boudriotte may come from only the La Boudriotte climate, or some portion of it.
