TN: 2016 BKB Pinot Noir Makena (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills)

Dark garnet to the rim, candied black cherry nose, juicy core of black cherry made in a carbonic style, lip smacking acidity, stemmy, soy sauce, juicy, lively, gulpable. If Hardy Wallace made a Pinot Noir it would taste like this. Pour me another glass!

I can’t keep up with all the wineries, new to me. Love the AVA. Tantalizing note. [cheers.gif]

Well you won’t have to keep up with this one since 2016 is their last vintage. My Son-in-law introduced me to this as the winemaker is a friend of his. Brought one over on Thanksgiving and I liked it so much I bought a 6-pack.
