This was absolutely splendid. The first whiff is that of a rose garden. There’s ripe raisin-like fruit and plenty of meat and bloody iodine traits, as well as some teak and Indian spices. It is rich, heady and powerful, with awesome perfume and presence. It is a strong wine but oh so beautiful and length is imposing.
