I think you can absolutely have terroir in beer, just not Sam Adams.

Their production was 3.8 million barrels in 2017. Granted that comes from multiple product lines, not all of which use hops…
…Sam Adams uses way more hops than produced by that little piece of ground.
Not a bad marketing idea, however the should’ve consulted a Master Cicerone for some better verbiage. Too generic content IMO to entice someone who actually cares about terrior.
