Does the 2015 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Estate Old Vine Ribbon Ridge come with a capsule? Mine was delivered and nothing there. I can see the cork. Is this normal with their wines?
PG Cellars doesn’t use capsules.

No capsules. Stopped after the 2009 vintage. Basically the choice for a winery of the size we are it is capsules or a full time employee. Something along those lines.
A vote for no capsules and warming up to screw caps. I agree capsules dress up the baller wine, but I just drink the cheap stuff.
Greatly prefer no capsule and wish more would put the vintage on top like Bedrock. Makes digging through my locker much easier.
I actually really like the way my PG pinots look in the cellar rack with the logo facing outward. No need for a capsule.
Also prefer no capsules, they don’t really serve much purpose and they can be a PITA in some bottling lines.
