This was a great little wine! Kinda funky blend of 59% Cab, 24% Zin, and 17% pinot. I’m sure the winemaker had no intention for this bottle to last 40 years, but it’s actually drinking really well! Spicy earth and sweet leather on the nose with raspberry, cherry, and autumn leaves in the mouth. Medium bodied with ample acidity and fully integrated tannins. Very ‘pretty’ wine that is really easy to drink, and even easier to like. Snagged a handful at auction for a song (wifes birthyear) that we’ll enjoy over the next few years. Life is good!
