TN: 2016 Sineann Columbia Valley Old Vine Zinfandel

14.8 ABV, under a Stelvin cap. Clean, crisp black fruit up front, with the fruits building and pushing a 45 second finish at 15 minutes open. The fruit is bright and clean not saturated nor heavy or viscous. At 30 minutes it is singing and ready for food, be it appetizers or the tacos we are going to have with it. 750K

Thanks for the tasting note, Randy! [cheers.gif]

I have never tasted a Zinfandel from outside California - and Puglia, Italy.

I have always been a bit curious about how the Pacific Northwest versions (and those from Australia) were style-wise.

I have an earlier version of this in the cellar but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Its getting colder now so maybe I should open it this weekend.
