I hear you. I don’t need a glass, certainly don’t need a subscription, nor do I (ever) pay to taste wine, but I spend at least a month a year in the region (all wine-related), and so I am curious as to perspectives.
Yes just read through the email and remembered that it wasn’t a sit down dinner and just a walk around tasting. The food is good there. Tribeca grill used to have corkage free Tuesdays and attended several off lines there.
BTW Robert Di Niro owns that venue.

They still have free corkage on Monday nights!

We stopped going there because they started a 1 bottle/couple. We would bring at least 1 bottle/person +.
