Purchased on a recent trip to France, we stayed at The Chateau de Sacy in Sacy and Mobillion is right around the corner. We stopped by and asked if a tasting was possible and sat down with one of the owners for awhile tasting great Champagne and getting a nice history lesson. Purchased a few bottles and this was the first since we’ve been back, wish I bought more.
What an amazing wine, such purity of fruit with no overt sweetness, complex in the mouth with floral notes, bright red fruits and toast. And great people from what we met. Wish I bought more, but my wine check could only hold so much…
