I didn’t know this even existed but it sure is cool. A collector case of six vintages of Yquem from the 1980’s including three 100 point vintages. It’s for sale in a charity auction. I have no connection other than I know the donor. Check it out here:
CellarTracker reports auction prices for these to range from $250-$350 depending on the vintage, making the total lot somewhere around $1600-2000, plus whatever value you get from the unique boxing. Minimum auction bid is $5600.
(BTW, the boxes have never been opened? Would be interesting if the winner opens them only to find ???)
