A beautiful, ethereal wine that is complex. It starts off with some forest floor, floral spice and nuttiness and really builds in the glass. The palate is sweet and vinous, slightly honeyed with a little brown spice. It deepens and fruit flavours become more pronounced with dark cherries coming to the fore. There’s a strap of licorice weaving through the flavour profile and it finishes quite earthy. All elements are harmonious and it is a joy to drink.
