Got a new BalancedWineSelctn Gruner in so cracked it this weekend w/ Susan:

Turk GrunerVeltliner Kremser Thurnerberg DAC: Kremstal Reserve (13.5%; www.WeingutTuerk.At) Stratzing 2015: Screwtop pops loudly on removal; med.gold color; tiny bubbles adhering to sides of glass, dissolved CO2; rather quiet GV/floral/carnations very light white pepper rather simple nose; fairly tart/tangy/bit metallic very slight spritz bit off-dry (0.5% r.s.?) light floral/GV/carnations slight earthy little white pepper rather simple/quotidian flavor; med.long slight spritz fairly tart/tangy/metallic light floral/GV/carnations very little white pepper slight stony finish; speaks of GV w/ a quiet voice; a rather simple/quotidian almost boring GV. $24.30 (BWS)

I was rather dissapointed in this Turk. Not nearly as good as the one we had a few weeks ago. OTOH, the Turk R was excellent…at a cheaper price.
