Pop and pour - a bit of bottle funk on the nose I’m sure will blow off, red strawberry and what I would best describe as the smell of lipstick, bit of a greenness to it as well. Bit of bricking in color. Slightly flinty on the palate, riper red fruit, berry compote, acid is pretty bright but mouthfeel is a little inconsistent, unsure of where it is at this time, but I’d guess this must be the tail end of its life in the bottle. Quaffable, nice way to break the wine fast of the week.
