2009 Baune Toussaints, 1er Cru, A. Morot

I’ve definitely had Margaret River Cabs that were more civilized. The comparison is based how this wine came across:
Heady aromas of menthol followed by spice and currants. These flavors are echoed on the rather structured and agressive palate. This wine is not a Burgundy and it put me in a bad mood last night. I wanted a civilized glass of wine with dinner and got a wild unruly monster. Hours of decanting did not help either.
