TN - 2005 Williams Selyem PN Richioli Riverblock

Enjoying the 2005 W S Pinot Noir Rochioli Riverblock with lightly herbed chicken; Popped and poured, strawberry red color, nose of light strawberry and raspberry, taste added some earth and light pleasing cola to the raspberry. The finish was balanced and well integrated from the first taste and throughout the meal, an enjoyable bottle: a wine with a few really good years left.

Great note!

Sounds like a synergistic match with the food!

The 2013 is still the best domestic pinot I’ve had. I thought that particular vintage of this bottling was just sublime.

The 07 left us wanting a year or two ago.

Consistently my favorite bottling of theirs (at least in the Cabral years). The house style under Cabral seemed to have an affinity with this vineyard.

Thanks for the notes, looking at getting a bottle of '06 Rochioli soon.
