Newbie question here: how often does Envoyer actually send invoices?
I was verbally confirmed for a few bottles, but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't received an invoice yet.
When I log into my Account page, it also looks outdated.

One frustration I have now is I have no way of knowing how far over/under I am from 12 bottles. lol
Or maybe I just need to learn to always go over...
I believe they invoice when they get final comfirmation from their supplier - i.e., they don’t want to invoice and then come back and have to unwind. Every once in a while they get stiffed on quantities, wrong vintage, etc. I appreciate the discipline.

I usually get an email confirming the order, but rarely get an invoice. I always see it hit the CC in a few days. I enter everything in CT once confirmed so I always know what I am owed.

I was tempted but have never tasted or really have any knowledge. How sweet is Maury? Cloying or does it have some structure?

Under 40 the 05 perhaps a tad higher.

Think 05, 07,09,12 and 15 vintages.

Thanks for clarifying, gents.
And yeah, when comparing to my Account page on the website, it seems like only the ones invoiced are REALLY mine, aka ready to ship if I want to.
The other wines with after verbal confirmation means that the wines are mine when they land, but they may still be en route from the cellar seller.

Picked up a pair of 2016 Baudry Chinon Boissee Blanc. I’ve had plenty of the red. First time with this though. I find I can be pleasantly surprised by drinking the other version of a wine regions or vintners typical color.

Haven't received it yet. I'm not having anything shipped until after I get off the crutches I've been on for the past month post knee surgery.

Tried to get the 71 Prunotto today but I was way to slow.

I've only been receiving the blasts for a couple of months now but it does take effort and discipline to pass given the quality and pricing. I often just have to delete the email and forget about it.

Fremiets is closer to pommard with marl and more iron in the soil. Wines are lush with a little more tannins and grip. d'angerville 14s are special. Try a bottle spread across to see the evolution.

Good price for a pretty intriguing/unusual wine given the large amount of Pinot Meunier in the cepage. Killer vintage too - it's a buy if you don't already have some.

Never ordered from envoyer before. Do they hold on to your purchases if requested? I want to get my purchases shipped when I have 6 to 12 bottles.

TIA

Envoyer noob question...this is the same Envoyer with the cheesy website, correct? Just setup an account, so wanted to confirm. Also, what are their holding options / requirements before shipping? TIA.

I just wish they wouldn't use Styrofoam due to breakage issues (so I was told). Well, I get wine from other west coast venders who use reinforced cardboard with no issues. So calling BS on that.
Immaturity-my life, not my wine.
