I haven’t had the 14s yet but think they need more time.
I certainly hope that's the case because I have 2 more bottles.

My one and only shipment from Envoyer was over a year ago when they proactively reached out and said they needed to ship to clear space. I have 126 bottles pending with them (I’m sure not all have landed in their facility), but haven’t heard from them. Should I reach out and arrange a shipment or hold tight? I’m in no rush, but we may start seeing warmer temps in March here in TX, which would mean pushing out another year.

Definitely reach out - they'll give you a status report. If you have that much pending surely they can ship some now and more next month if more arrives. Sending two boxes separately is no more expensive than when sent together.

Please do as I was told they need to make room in their warehouse in order to bring wines (especially Italians) that are in other locations so they can process and ship those out as well. Terry is great and can tell you exactly what they can ship and when.

Not fantastic pricing on this cellar. I guess the Margaux and 90 rsv is ok.

quebec is quite good for raveneau as well, around $100 release price for clos...and you might save a bit on the flight.

Whenever I see '08 Veuve at that price, I want it. Then I tell myself it's Veuve and to put that money towards '08 Dom/Cristal. Then I mildly regret not buying '08 Veuve.

Repeat cycle.
There are a lot of Veuve haters. I suspect because the NV is so ubiquitous. I don't understand those people. Also, the Veuve '08s are great.

I hope I have not unnecessarily increased your regret. [snort.gif]
Veuve went through a pronounced down period, especially for the NV. They started improving about a decade? or so ago but the memory lingers...

I asked about a current vintage of a wine that I've got in previous vintages from them and they said they were waiting to see what happens with tariffs before sourcing new wines. That was before the last announcement that they were staying steady, so not sure if they are sourcing new wines yet or not?

09 Cristal is probably the best vintage since 02 or 00 besides 08 so, I’m a buyer at that price. I have put away a good stash of the 09 mags but that’s the lowest price I’ve seen.

2015 Produttori del Barbaresco Riservas were just offered. I requested one each in the 750ml format, even though they seemed a little high versus some other retailers.

Varies greatly depending on where you are shipping to and what you are shipping. My case shipments of (12) 750s to ATL usually comes out around $4.50 per bottle.

For me to DC, mostly Champagne, has ranged from $4.50 to $6.25/bottle. The latter was for a shipment of less than 12 bottles, and the 12+ shipments have been towards the lower end (although also included some 375s).

Anyone had anything from Charles Noellat? This '02 is tempting, especially at that price, but the internet is largely a graveyard with regards to tasting notes. I know it's a negociant, but has anyone had experience with them?

Envoyer has probably the highest shipping per bottle rate from all the places I buy from. I live in NorCal and frequently buy from shops from the East Coast and anywhere in between. I shipped a 15 bottle case and it averaged out to $4/bottle (shipping plus packaging) from SoCal to NorCal (1 day transit). I recently just had a case of wine shipped from SoCal via GLS at $26 a case. I emailed them asking them to find a more competitive ship rate and only got a response that "they don't make any money from shipping and handling".

I ship to upstate NY and the shipping usually comes in at around $4/bottle. My last shipment was 49 bottles and it worked out to $3.96 per. In my experience, that's in line with - or less than - most retailers.

Included in the shipping charge is $9.50 for each 12-bottle shipping carton.

Did anyone else grab anything from the Italian cellar email on Tuesday?

I bit on the '57 Borgogno Barolo Riserva. Crappy vintage, but it's my birth year. A friend with the same birth year has opened a few '57 Barolo in the past that have shown very well, so I figured it was worth a shot.

Grabbed two of the clape mentioned above..120 a bottle is by far the best price I’ve seen

On the cellar, asked for some but haven’t heard back yet.

Edit: snagged a 67 Fontanafredda Barolo

Nice offer of 2015 Felsina CCR Rancia. Haven’t seen a price that low for this wine in a while.

Awesome price on Hebrart rosé, but with the shipping charges w/ in CA, it's no better deal than a lot of places with free shipping are offering.

I skipped on these because I'm still waiting on previous oldies from 9 months ago.

89 Bartolo Mascarello was a good deal. 2 bottles went in 2 minutes.
