Anyone grab any 2017 Chateau de Meursault Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes-Dessus? Or have any thoughts? Picked up a couple

Same, already got the rejection email though, so if you haven’t heard, may be a good sign.

Got the two I asked for! I was only like 3-4 mins after the e-email went out though... so pretty quick this go around.

I responded within the first hour, asking for seven bottles of various vintages. At first, I got a confirmation for all seven. A second email said only one bottle was available. A third email confirmed of two bottles total. Better than no bottles! I had a 1990 recently that was really good.

Cheers,

I don't remember ever seeing a '99 Rousseau Clos St. Jacques with a gold and white capsule (which I associate with their Chambertin and Clos de Beze), rather than a red capsule. My experience with this wine, though, is extremely limited.

I can say with confidence that few here have less experience with this wine, this producer, or this bottling than me.

This was one of the few recently that that I pulled the trigger on and missed, and felt actually dissapointment rather than that usual tinge of relief. Certainly seemed like a good “deal” given the market, and with the recent conversation surrounding the wine on the board, I’ve been trying to seek some out.

Yes, this has been discussed before, there seem to be a few tiers. You can imagine that for a small shipment it isn't beneficial to have 100 people reply that they each want 3 of the 6 total bottles they have coming.

On the other hand, a quick email to one of the office staff has invariably good results; sometimes being added to a list or offered a similar bottle in their inventory. Customer service here is top notch.

Maybe a touch. It seems like there haven't been as many cellar raider type emails, maybe? But between Fass, DTEW, Cellarraiders, Full Pull, and now Lopa, I feel like I get more great offers than ever. Not to mention winery mailing lists.

I'd like to see the Gravonia offered. Of course, it's fairly easily obtained, so no biggie if they don't.
