TN: Colin-Morey Meursault Perrieres 2006

gorgeous crystalline yellow fruit. Focused and refined, balanced, deep, long. Stony, classy, beautiful wine. This is why we drink white Burgundy. Just echoes on the palate.

Nice. I haven’t had it in a while but remember it was great, as are most of his wines.

PYCM really killed it in 2006. I love the 06 MP, It has a compelling combination of orchard fruit and flinty mineral spice. Thanks for the note.

Thanks Alan. Unlike the early adopters I missed PYCMs '06s unfortunately.

I recall the 06s being very promiscuous and drinking well young. Too well to keep my hands off them. None of mine lasted more than 5 years.

The PYCM 06s that I’ve tried been wonderful. Very un-06 if you get my drift.
