NOSE: pretty tight; mix of red and purple fruits.
BODY: black-garnet color of great depth; medium to medium-full bodied.
TASTE: extremely tannic; oak; purple-fruited; spicy; 14% alc. well-hidden; still quite primary, but relaxing a bit; probably 4 or 5 more years before this starts getting interesting. Drink now through 2028. gut impression score: 91.
