Coming off of the older post “Got any Obscure stuff” Got any obscure stuff? - WINE TALK - WineBerserkers name the wines you have that you are the SOLE OWNER of according to Cellar Tracker. Or if you don’t use CT, but think you have the only one.

I’m not on Cellartracker but I checked it for some of my rarer bottles and only found one:
1984 Gonzalez Byass Palo Cortado
which surprises me as it was available until very recently at Flatiron. I thought for sure that older vintages would have been rarer but it seems there’s 30 bottles of the 1966 Oloroso out there.
Did we ever figure out of there’s a way to pull a report like this in CT…or do you have to just manually look up the bottles you figure to be more rare?
More seriously, that 1993 Ramonet Vergers should be drinking well. I had the Ruchottes last week and it was superb, though the restaurant alleged that there was appreciable bottle variation. Did you try it lately?
93 Amoureuses…lucky! Can’t imagine how good that is as the village CM is actually pretty amazing right now!
Picked up 2 bottles of that 93 Vergers, drank one a couple years ago and it just ok…some nice crushed rock and chalk, decent citrus…just an aged funk that just didn’t blow off. And we had some other stellar whites(04 pycm chevy, 89 Latour monty,09 Tollot Beaut cc, 09 Marcassin) that kicked it to the curb a little. Hoping the last bottle shines.
2016 J. Brix Pinot Gris Nomine Amoris Kick On Ranch. Still amazed I’m the only one on CT with this wine, consistently one of my favorite wines every year. Seems very young compared to the rest of these lists!
I found a bottle in my cellar that I didn’t recognize, and I thought I’d open tonight. It can’t be getting any better at this point. Azienda Agricola Miotto Lodovico 2004 Merlot. Not only can I not find it on Cellartracker, I can’t find mention at all, as the winery does not list a Merlot among their offerings.
Maybe I should keep it if it is the only one left in the world.
2015 Biggio Hamina Cellars Pinot Noir Holmes Gap Vineyard
2006 Hafner Trockenbeerenauslese Old Vienna Grand Cuvée
2013 Cosimo Maria Masini Cosimo
2006 Nicolas Potel Côte de Nuits Villages
This is a lot more likely for those of us that have a cellar that is neither dominated by Europe or the US.
I’m still surprised by a couple of them though.
2009 Allies Pinot Noir Garagiste Mornington Peninsula
2008 Bannockburn Pinot Noir (de-classified) Ann’s Block Geelong
2012 Dona paterna Alvarinho Vinho Verde Reserva
2006 Flynn’s Shiraz MC Heathcote
2015 Heathcote Winery Shiraz Mailcoach
1979 Morris Wines Vintage Port Rutherglen
1998 Reilly’s Shiraz Dry Land Clare Valley
1994 Stanton & Killeen Vintage Port Rutherglen
1979 Stanton & Killeen Vintage Port Rutherglen
I have a few which no one else currently seems to have in CT. I’m a little surprised at how many, since my cellar is fairly small…
2001 Churchill/Graham Porto Vintage Quinta do Rio
2016 Croma Vera Albariño
2016 Croma Vera Rosé
2015 Croma Vera Cabernet Sauvignon
2015 Domaine des Sanzay Saumur Champigny Les Poyeux
1977 Domaine Thunevin-Calvet Maury Vin Doux Naturel
2017 Le Pépin Chardonnay Vin de France (a $5 TJ’s chard which has been a serviceable sipper/cooking wine in the past)
…and very close:
2001 Hexamer Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg Riesling Auslese #20 (looks like I have one of two, and Mr. Levine has the other)
NV Terrassous Rivesaltes Réserve Privée Hors d’Age 6 Ans (12 of the 13 ever entered in CT have been mine…there’s one more out there in the community somewhere)
