And here we are again with take out Thai and a bottle of Scheurebe. Not sure why I don’t buy more of this every year, as it’s a little shot of wild in an otherwise dreary world. Still has all that uber-ripe grapefruit, supplemented by currant, sage and pineapple. The flavors linger with a haunting presence. It’s like the ghost of Hans-Gunter Schwarz Past bringing a little of his magic to us through Darting. Drink more Scheu Ebenezer! It will make your heart merry.

I don’t care that I just recently closed off my wine collection, if this were on sale up here, I would snap up 1 or possibly even 2 cases up IMMEDIATELY. I love Scheurebe Spatlese.

I wish I had bought a case. So drinkable.

Agreed - this is a delicuous wine that’s so easy to drink.

Fyi…makes a great breakfast wine (if you’re into that kind of thing)
