  • 2010 Mount Eden Vineyards Pinot Noir - USA, California, San Francisco Bay, Santa Cruz Mountains (11/18/2017)
    PnP. Dark red, with some funk on opening, which quickly blew off. Mouthfeel was medium weight, with minor tannins. Tasted of dark cherries. Fruit is still strong, and a bit one note. Wine should age for many more years, but not much complexity at this point. I will cellar my last bottle for a few more years to see if it further develops. (91 pts.)
