Cloudy bottle of Raveneau

Bought a bottle of Raveneau from an NYC retailer for a blind tasting and as I was preparing the bottle for the tasting (ie removing the wax so the bottle isn’t obvious), I noticed the wine is much cloudier than I’m used to. I’m planning to open the bottle tomorrow before the tasting, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with a cloudy bottle of Raveneau or whether this was a sign of some issue (i.e. improper storage), any help or thoughts from the WB pros would be much appreciated.

I would assume that it may have something to do with the age of the wine. It you could give it 30-60 days I’d assume there would be a fine sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

Thanks, Kirk! That makes a lot of sense. I went back and looked at the pics they sent me of the bottle (since the bottle was at their warehouse before being delivered to me) and the wine looks clear in the pics. I’m sure the sediment kicked up en route to me.
