Two nice Joguets

I got together with friends last night and pulled a pair of Joguets to share. Both were showing extremely well and showed great quality, even better than a recent 1996 Raffault Picasses, though the 1996 Varennes seems to have more life left in it than the 1997 Dioterie.

I have just one 1996 Chene Vert left from a pair of six-packs of 95 and 96. They developed so well I tried to hang on to some to age longer but they seem to have drunk themselves.

I’m down to my last 1996 Chene Vert, after a corked bottle in May. I have a couple left of each of the other wines from 1996 and 1997 that I’m in no great hurry to drink.

Nice Mike. I have a few from the late 90s. Looks like they are going to be excellent in the future.
