Had the pleasure of drinking some of the 164th iteration of Krug grand cuvée today. I love Krug’ grand cuvée the last couple years, but this one is even better. This to me is hands down the most perfect wine I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking. (I’ll admit, I’ve not had any vintage Krug). It’s powerful and vibrant, with the perfect amount of acidity. It’s finish lasted on my palate for at least a couple minutes. I will definitely be buying at least a case or 2 of the stuff, and am extremely excited to see how it developes over the next 2-3 decades.
