New Masters of Wine named (congrats Morgan!)

The new MWs have been named. I’d like to call out Morgan Twain Peterson and Colorado’s Ashley Vaughters Hausman for this fine accomplishment!

Congrats Morgan!

Sight thread drift…

Congratulations are also in order to Billo Naravane MW of Washington (Rasa Vineyards) as well. A great achievement for an incredibly approachable nice guy.

Congratulations to all on that significant achievement. Way to go Morgan!

Morgan,
May I suggest that you put a link to your thesis up on the Bedrock WebSite.
Research Paper: A review of late 19th century planting practices in Californian vineyards and their
relevance to today’s viticulture. A research paper based upon Bedrock Vineyard, planted in 1888.

I think there are a lot of us who would find it interesting reading.
And congrats on the MW. Somehow, I don’t see you reprinting all your business cards
and replacing your name on the WebSite with “Morgan Twain-Peterson” MW though.
Tom

I hope both Billo and Morgan add the initials to all official correspondence! Congratulations to all fourteen who completed this momentous achievement.

Man, that’s awesome! Congrats Morgan - incredible accomplishment!

Yea would be cool to read his thesis. I was telling my cycling buddies about his wines and these wonderful vineyards, while we enjoyed a Bedrock Heritage and a Bedrock Carlisle. They pair great with hearty fare, cycling mountains and dudes’ weekends!

Well done!
I notice many more winemakers going for MW these days. Is that a trend?

Updating the link that now includes bios for everyone. An interesting and curious group.
