Alright, who bought all the RL Legras half bottles?! The site showed 77 available yesterday so I figured I could put off a few days and now the link says sold out! I emailed them just in case but wtf? Lol

77 halfs at that price to hundreds, if not thousands of people on their email blasts. Doesn't take long...

Shame on me. Luckily I have some 750’s on order from them but hopefully they can get a hold of some more halfs

I bought a few of the 375s. I can never have too many of good, cheap half bottles

Went long on the NV Marguet Champagne Grand Cru Shaman 15 Extra Brut. I already had some of the rose, but somehow not this. If the '13 is so good, I can't imagine the '15 though.

I've read a lot of praise for this producer, but have never tasted the wines. I was tempted, but moving to no sulfur for bubbles worries me. I would not want to keep a wine without SO2 for any appreciable length of time.

Thoughts?

How long do you plan on aging them? The wine was just disgorged March 2019 so I’d figure it would be fine until March 2021 at the very least.

We have tons of Champagne in our cellar as it's one of our favorite things to drink, so it's difficult to say how long they could be sitting!

Yes indeed. I ADORE Jose Dhondt's wines. Every time I drink a bottle I think...why don't I drink this *every* time? But, as we all know, there is an ocean of reasonably priced killer champagnes to seek out!

I gave in and again (3rd time) asked to be put on ALL lists even though all I want is ALL champagne. I have the right boxes checked but the only offer I can be assured of is 06 Comte’s.
I have been reassured several times that we have received the last offers of 06 Comtes.
And again!
We really mean it!!!

Only 120 bottles left!

and I just opted for another 6 pack- never ever bought so much of any one champagne. Enjoyed every bottle of the 21 I've had.

The 2009 Philipponnat Clos des Goisses is a tremendous wine at a very attractive price.

Totally agree. On the heels of another 06` Comtes offering for which I opted for a 6 pack, I'm like "what do I do here?" and the little voice is saying "go for it".

Apparently Envoyer was able to secure some more RL Legras BdB in 375’s as I got email that they were able to come through with my request for a couple. 22 in stock on the website

FWIW, the August boat arrived and I picked up some stuff a week or so ago. Terry pulled my order with not much notice. She really does a good job for the customers. Miniere, Jacquesson, Mouzon-Leroux were in the box.
My WOTY candidates for 2019:

2017 Rivers-Marie PN Occidental Ridge SC

2017 Carlisle Zin Mancini Ranch RRV

My best wines of 2018:
2017 Kutch Falstaff Sonoma Coast PN

Yep. They dumped a bunch of my orders at my cellar yesterday. Wasn't expecting that. [swoon.gif]

🤔Billecart salmon rose in 750 or 375? Decisions, decisions. It’s tough bc this champagne is one of only ones I enjoy I can find locally, but Envoyers pricing is so much better!

Well, the 750 price is more favorable per ml, but always nice to have 375s for when you don't need as much . . . (and harder to find the 375s locally)

Yes. For what little it's worth, here's my note from the Spring. While not my most favorite ever, at the price it's pretty good.

It should be clear that this is his entry level champagne. With that in mind, it's very good, but go in with reasonable expectations. I went long because I love Hebrart.

I like the Hebert. It is the kind of thing I am always looking out for -- a half bottle of something delish and cheap to drink on the patio or as an opener before a red. I like having bottles that can be opened and enjoyed on the spur of the moment. I only asked for a few because I have bought a bunch of 375 champers recently, but if I wasn't already stocked up I would have order a lot more.

That's what I thought. I already have some in my cellar though since I know they do more than one Special Club I thought maybe it was possibly something else.

I also did not receive this offer.

Gimmonet SC is on my "always buy" list. Have always been fans, but visited the domain in March and were treated like royalty, so we might be biased.
