I placed three orders today, two from older offers and one from yesterday. I received responses on 2 so far but waiting on the last one. Normal to get staggered invoices even when sending purchase emails in same timeframe?

You'll drive yourself crazy trying to set rules for when you will get word back. I ordered some 375s yesterday and expect to hear back . . . at some point before the wines ship. If you really want to know, call them

Lot of stuff offered today, some that has been out already and/or on the shelf there. The Vazart Coquart is excellent and I was tempted by the 2011 CdC Vilmart. Did anyone pull the handle on that? It's 2011 but does Laurent make a bad wine ever?
My WOTY candidates for 2019:
2014 Marie Courtin Eloquence Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut
2017 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Occidental Ridge SC PN
2017 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Platt SC PN
2017 Kutch Pinot Noir SC PN
2009 Roederer Cristal Brut

My best wines of 2018:
2017 Kutch Falstaff Sonoma Coast PN
2012 Marguet La Grande Ruelle Ambonnay

Stayed true to my goal and hit the delete button, which was hard, but a lot easier than it used to be. I think Laurent’s winemaking abilities come shining through in weaker vintages.

Russ, I have been quite disciplined for many months now but decided to call Carina and place my requests. I asked for the 2011 CdC and also might as well get whatever Vazart is left. At $50, the Vazart is impressive, and CdC, well, it's CdC. It's funny, as I just picked up my 2010 CdC from Greg a few weeks ago.

Stopped by today and had to resist the 2011 CDC Vilmart and Bouchard.

The Effusion is excellent, as I had it at the winery and since through bottles I acquired here back at home. 35 bucks, for stuff that is farmed precise and clean (no crap sprayed, as Cedric maintains a very bio-focused approach). Do it.

Agreed. Champagne/Burgundy lovers from Tampa here. Buy nearly all of our wine from Envoyer, though we do support a couple Tampa retailers (West Palm & B21). Random buys at Total and Costco if we see a good deal. Where are you?

Re: Envoyer is crushing it with Champagne these days

Russ, this is a bit of a re-release, as the 2014 Bermonts and Crayeres were offered previously, maybe a month ago?

As for Le Parc, I have only ever seen that in 3L size bottle so to have it in 750 for purchase is cool. I asked for a couple.

If Le Parc is where they say it is, then it's truly a stone's throw from Dethune, which is basically across the street from Clos d' Ambonnay. The Marguet winery is also just down the block from Dethune. Pretty cool, as you can visit both places in one shot, in what is a pretty small village.
My WOTY candidates for 2019:
2014 Marie Courtin Eloquence Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut
2017 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Occidental Ridge SC PN
2017 Rivers-Marie Pinot Noir Platt SC PN
2017 Kutch Pinot Noir SC PN
2009 Roederer Cristal Brut

My best wines of 2018:
2017 Kutch Falstaff Sonoma Coast PN
2012 Marguet La Grande Ruelle Ambonnay

Kindness matters.

Asked for 3 Crayeres and 2 Parc. Given recent emails going missing, I will be following-up soon if I dont hear back quickly with a confirmation of email receipt.

If anybody else who asked in on this offer could post when they get a response of any kind from Envoyer I would greatly appreciate it. [cheers.gif]

February 25th was when the Crayeres and Bermonts were offered. I posted on that (#1212). FWIW, there was other Marguet offered too, the village based wines (Avize, Chouilly, etc) which was more recent.

Graf, I will holler if/when I get invoiced for the Le Parc.

I must of passed on the Crayeres offer back in Feb, so glad to have another shot at these.
