What are your favorite toasts?

Perhaps it’s a dying tradition for a host to make a toast when we raise a glass of wine, but I still love it.

My favorite toast is,
“Here’s to you, as good as you are,
and to me, as bad as I am.
And as bad as I am, and as good as you are,
I’m as good as you are, as bad as I am”

Absolutely the Honor toast is a winner…“here’s to your honor…”

And although not a toast per se I love beginning with “true love is the soul’s recognition of its counterpoint in another…” always gets a nice combination of chuckles and ahhs
